- Officers from Central/State Government/Union Territories Administration.
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
- Two years of regular service in Level 9 (₹53,100 – ₹1,67,800) / Level 8 (₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100), OR
- Three years of regular service in Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400).
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with the other language as a compulsory subject OR
- Master’s in any subject with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory subject OR
- Master’s in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject.
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience in translation work (English to Hindi or vice versa) OR
- Teaching/research in Hindi/English at a recognized institution.
